The Chen Lab at the University of California, San Francisco is currently seeking researchers at all levels to join our growing and interdisciplinary team in the Weill Institute for Neurosciences on the Mission Bay campus. Our research focus is on developing cutting-edge technologies to study brain-body physiology and to design new therapies for circuit disorders. We are looking for candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: systems neuroscience, electrophysiology, synthetic biology, bioelectronics, or biological/electrical/materials engineering.

PhD Students: We are affiliated with the UCSF Neuroscience, UCSF Biomedical Sciences, and the UC Berkeley/UCSF Bioengineering Graduate Programs. Prospective students are encouraged to directly apply to these programs.
